When looking at filming we wanted to get a second opinion of what people thought of our video and the characters within the video. We filmed other students in our media class as we thought they would give constructive and useful criticism, and took their opinions into account to help us improve our video. By listening to opinions from an outside source it also allowed us to realise the faults we have made and to make sure we do not make the same mistakes again. The following videos show the feedback we received:
From this research it has revealed that we need to immediately change the mother and daughter argument scene. From our feedback we realised that Ashleigh looks far too young and therefore need to change the story line slightly. For this, we have decided to change Ashleigh's character from being Alice's mother to being her friend. We are still going to use the same location of Jessie's house, however instead of using her living room we are going to use her front garden and door step. We are still going to create an argument scene by having an argument with Ashleigh and Alice, showing that two friends have fallen out. We are not going to use the inside of Jessies house as we want to build from criticism we have received and we feel by just using the outside of a house it will be more effective and not give the wrong suggestion of the living condition of Alice. I feel this new scene we have created will be a lot more effective and allow us to get filming done quickly as we are now behind our schedule due to the fact we have had to cut this scene and film a new one.
