9th Filming - New Video, Bathroom Scene

To carry on with filming we then decided to shoot the bathroom scene which will feature throughout the whole video as it is where Alice attempts to commit suicide

We decided to shoot her from all different angles when coming through the front door, these are shown in the video below:

Follow shot:

The video above was not very successful as it did not have continuity as she went to the mirror before the taps which is not what we wanted.

This video however was more successful:

The videos below show close up and extreme close up shots of Alice as she is taking her make up off. We felt these were the best shots to use as we could capture the whole action as well as capturing her upset and distressed emotion:

If we are able to create the right angle then these close up shots will be very effective to use.

We also did some shots in the reflection of the mirror, these are shown in the video above and below:

We also decided to take shots of Alice turning on the bath taps to keep continuity so it doesn't look like she is just getting into an already run bath, these are shown below:

We then filmed Alice getting into the bath and we only had one opportunity to do this as once Alice was in the bath her clothes and hair would be wet:

Problems we are facing:
During our filming we have not actually filmed Alice attempting to commit suicide, and so this scene needs more work and to be developed further. We also need to re-shoot some parts as when looking back at filming we realised that Alice looks at the camera in parts and also laughs. When re-shooting we shall make sure that she does not look at the camera and hopefully she will be more familiar with the scene so that she doesn't laugh.
